The Man Behind the Vision
(1983–1988)
In 1983, Shri C. P. Singh left a stable career to begin his educational journey with 26 students in a rented house in Anand Nagar, Lucknow. In 1988, this vision became Lucknow Public School at Sector D, built on value-based, affordable, and holistic education.
Guided by perseverance, integrity, and humility, Shri C. P. Singh expanded LPS with its second branch at Sector-I, Ashiyana, in 1997. He remained committed to students, teachers, and parents until his passing on 21 September 2006.
His values of knowledge, discipline, character, and service continue to guide LPS. Under Shri Lokesh Singh, the institution embraces modern education and innovation while preserving its founding philosophy and the motto, "Come to Learn, Go to Serve."
