To ensure round-the-clock safety, a dedicated safety commission has been formed in collaboration with the IBMS (Integrated Building Management System) Team. This advanced, computer-based system monitors and controls key infrastructure-ventilation, lighting, power, fire systems, PA systems, and security-across the campus.

Campus-Wide Surveillance & Security Systems

• The system includes over 300 network cameras that have audio-video recording capabilities, with some capable of capturing in 4K resolution (3840 x 2160).
• Features like motion detection, intrusion alerts, and line-crossing detection placed at key access points.
• Help buttons are installed across the campus, including inside washrooms for privacy-respecting safety support. Pressing the button triggers live monitoring with an enlarged view.
• Over 820,000 GB of secure storage, maintaining nearly 5 months of Full HD video for each camera.

Fire Safety & Emergency Systems

• The Honeywell Morley IAS Fire Panel is connected to over 400 smoke detectors, three fire call points on each floor, and hydrants located on every floor.
• The panel is integrated with the PA system to provide real-time fire announcements.
• Three emergency sirens per floor for rapid evacuation.
• The automatic door release is activated through access control integration during fire alerts.

PA & Announcement System

• Honeywell public announcement setup
• 4 amplifiers (500W each)
• 8-zone X-DCS2000 controller
• X-NPMI remote mic controller
• Over 400 speakers throughout the campus
• Supports automated school bell schedules and emergency messages.

Access Control for Safety & Monitoring

• Controlled entry using ZK C300 4-door controller panels
• RFID-based sensors on either side of each magnetic lock door
• Software-scheduled access for doors as per time and need

Emergency Preparedness

• Every classroom and sensitive area is equipped with HELP BUTTONS to request assistance instantly.
• Restricted cameras in the washrooms serve as a crucial safety measure, ensuring privacy and security.
• Regular training sessions and workshops are held for all staff to build readiness and confidence during emergencies.
