At Lucknow Public School, Computer Science introduces students to the ever-evolving world of technology through engaging lessons, practical activities, and creative digital experiences. Our Computer Science department is equipped with modern computer laboratories, interactive smart boards, child-friendly software, coding platforms, educational applications, and multimedia resources. In Grade 1, students begin by learning about the basic parts of a computer, understanding how technology is used in daily life, and developing confidence in using a keyboard and mouse. They also explore simple educational applications that encourage interactive learning.

Grade 2 students develop foundational computer skills, including typing practice, creating digital artwork, and learning how to use technology responsibly and safely. They are introduced to internet awareness and the importance of responsible online behaviour.

By Grade 3, learners begin exploring coding concepts, algorithms, sequencing, and logical thinking through educational games and beginner-friendly programming activities. These experiences help them understand how technology is designed and controlled.

In Grades 4 and 5, students expand their skills by creating presentations, digital projects, spreadsheets, and simple coding applications while developing computational thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills.

Students participate in coding workshops, digital innovation days, technology exhibitions, and interactive learning challenges that allow them to apply their knowledge in practical settings.

Group projects, digital storytelling activities, and technology-based problem-solving exercises encourage creativity and teamwork.

The Tech Explorers Club provides opportunities for students to participate in coding challenges, digital design activities, game-creation projects, and technology awareness programmes.

Students also engage in inter-house tech quizzes, coding competitions, and creative technology showcases that build confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

Student-created coding projects, digital artwork, presentations, animations, and technology-based projects are regularly showcased through exhibitions and classroom displays.
