We encourage students to understand people, ideas, and societies through Humanities.

The Humanities Department at Lucknow Public School introduces students to the fascinating study of human civilisation through History, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, and Cultural Studies. Our curriculum promotes analytical thinking, empathy, communication, and informed citizenship while helping students understand people, ideas, and societies from multiple perspectives.

Modern classrooms equipped with smart boards, multimedia resources, political maps, documentaries, academic journals, and digital archives create an interactive learning environment where students actively explore historical events, governance systems, cultural traditions, and social change.

Students begin by learning about communities, traditions, and civic values before progressing towards constitutional studies, historical movements, democracy, human rights, and global affairs. Senior learners examine advanced concepts including psychology, ethics, international politics, and economic systems while preparing for CBSE examinations.

Practical learning includes educational tours, museum visits, field surveys, policy simulations, NGO interactions, and research projects that help students connect classroom concepts with real-life experiences.

The Humanities Club organises Model United Nations conferences, debates, essay competitions, cultural festivals, heritage quizzes, and public policy discussions that encourage leadership and critical thinking.

Student work is displayed through exhibitions featuring historical timelines, research reports, multimedia presentations, thematic displays, and awareness campaigns.

Through Humanities, Lucknow Public School develops informed learners who value diversity, respect different perspectives, and become responsible global citizens.
