Music is an important, enriching part of the lives of many of our boys

At Lucknow Public School, music is more than just a subject—it's a language through which our students express creativity, emotion, and identity. Whether it's learning classical ragas, performing in a school choir, exploring digital music production, or simply strumming a guitar, there’s a space for every student to grow musically at LPS.

With a team of dedicated music faculty and a wide range of ensembles—including choirs, instrumental bands, solo performance groups, and folk music collectives—our students receive exposure to both Indian and Western traditions. From tabla to keyboard, vocals to violin, our music rooms echo with practice, passion, and purpose.

Access to the Co-curriculum is open to all and throughout the school there are a wide range of choirs, orchestras, bands and ensembles which rehearse weekly and cater for all levels of musical experience.
